Cyber Challenge 2020

A student team from Lund University was awarded to go to Geneva for the 2020 Cyber Challenge.

On February 6th, master students from DRMCCA Batch 5 participated in a cyber security policy competition hosted by the Swedish Civil Contingencies Agency (MSB) in Stockholm. The team, composed of four students from different backgrounds, was supported by Jonas Johansson from CenCIP and the Division of Risk Management and Societal Safety. The students were tasked with responding to the scenario of a dynamically evolving cyber crisis impacting several Swedish critical infrastructures. After a challenging and eventful day, the team, which was the only one representing Lund University, ranked second. They now have the opportunity to compete in the global Cyber 9/12 Strategy Challenge 2020 happening in Geneva on the 16th of April.
